From Buenos Aires, Argentina to Halifax, Canada
Even though all trips I’ve been on have something special about them, there’s a few destinations that stand out from the many places I’ve been able to visit so far. One of them, as anyone who has ever heard me speak in public will know, is the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I share a lot of stories from that trip in my Freedom Project books.
One of the areas I visited on that trip are the colourful streets of the “La Boca” area. The feature image for this post is one of the results, but in addition I witnessed some amazing live music and of course tango dancers, right on the streets. If you’ve never been to Argentina, it’s definitely worth a trip – and in this previous post I write about why you might want to consider a trip to South America.
In previous art shows people always thought some of my Buenos Aires photographs, in particular the one features with this post, were taken in Canada’s Maritime provinces. While some of them do look similar, both destinations are obvious…
