Four reasons to visit a local art gallery this weekend

Looking for a way to spend a quiet afternoon doing something new this weekend? How about making a visit to a local art gallery? Even though for some the barrier to walk into a “gallery” might seem high, I think you will be glad you did for a lot of reasons.

1 – Discover what’s new

Local art galleries often have new exhibits regularly, where you can learn new forms of art or see new examples of more well known forms of art. If you visit a gallery while the artist in attendance (check their schedule) they can tell you everything you want to know about their work. Sharing the story behind my photographic artwork is what originally inspired me to start this blog.

2 – Become an artist yourself

I don’t believe in competition, especially in art. Instead of competing with my fellow “artrepreneurs”, I hope we’ll all make it.
