How to stay fit while traveling: ten helpful tips for dieting success

Being on the road can take it’s toll on all those good intentions of eating healthy and staying fit. I’ve learned to avoid fried foods, refined sugar, carbonated soft drinks and trans-fats as much as possible. Too many people are obsessed with counting calories, while not enough people pay attention to counting chemicals of their over-processed fast food. That being said – don’t get discouraged if you “cheat” once in a while on your diet, especially while traveling or on vacation. Just remember each day is a new day, and move on.
Here’s a list of some tips I’ve used that helped me stay healthy while away from the familiarities of home. They can be used all around the world!
Don’t skip breakfast! It’s the meal that will keep you going all day long.
Drink eight or more glasses of water a day. Drink at least one glass before every meal. Water helps flush out toxins and also helps limit your appetite.
