Inspiration For Your New Year’s Travel Resolutions
It’s that time of year. We’re all collectively coming up with goals and ideas for the New Year. I’m a big believer in setting goals, but January 1 is just another day of the year. Why we all massively quit smoking, start exercising, eat healthier (at least for a few weeks) is a funny trait of Western society I guess. In The Freedom Project Love 2.0 I wrote about “Resolutions”:
I overheard a story recently about a new gym being opened. It’s called “Resolutions”. It’s a special kind of establishment, and only functions as a gym during January. The rest of the year, it turns into a bar, with big flat screen televisions and drink specials served every night. The concept of resolutions is great, but reality tends to keep us honest. We write down our New Years resolutions with the best of intentions. Somewhere along the way, usually by the end of January, most of them are forgotten about, until December comes around yet again. Repeating that cycle over and over again won’t get you any closer…
