Why you need to stop selling yourself on Facebook
After an almost month-long journey through Central America, being completely disconnected from everything (that’s the way I like it) I just logged back into Facebook for the first time. It hit me more than ever that a lot of my “friends” are trying to sell me something, instead of share from their life’s experiences.
The amount is success coaches in particular is overwhelming. Sure, through my books and online courses I dabble in the self help arena a bit too, but the point is to share from what I’ve learned and already have done myself through the work I do. The point is not to just share what I have learned. I have actually done the things I write about and share in my books, and on this blog. Writing a number one bestseller is not something I teach because I know the system, I share the steps I have already taken so others can benefit from my experience. There’s a fine line of nuance there – and maybe you need to embark on a three week trip yourself before you see it.
