Tokyo is a city of contradictions. You’ll find both tradition and modernity. You’ll discover refined dining and sticky street food. Shiny glass skyscrapers are alternated with centuries-old temples. The neon lights, glass skyscrapers, and world-renowned hole-in-the-wall (speaking of contradictions) restaurants might capture your attention initially, but it’s ultimately the charming side of this city that’ll win your heart for life. It’s the soft pink of the cherry blossoms, the hectic, noisy markets, and the smell of street-food that leave the most lasting impressions.
